We love coffee. We also love liquor. Please don’t make us pick our favorite — we can’t. Although when we first heard about the idea of a cold brew martini we felt like all our worlds collided. Its pure brilliance although not utterly ground breaking. Coffee after dinner or alongside dinner is also such a treat in dessert form — have you tried an affogato yet? This made us smile though, in a big way. The recipe we settled on being our favorite is below which is inspired byTHISone:
2oz HiLine cold brew coffee
3oz vanilla-flavored vodka
3oz coffee-flavored liqueur
2 coffee beans
To start put 2 martini glasses in the freezer. Wait for it… NOW! When they are chilled crush a coffee bean in the base each of the glasses. Grab a shaker and add all of your liquids with ice and shake it up. When the outside of the shaker gets frosted strain the martini into the chilled glass and enjoy.
Large batch cold brew recipe: Drop 2 pitcher packs into a 48 fl oz (or larger) pitcher. Add 32 fl oz of cold, filtered water to the pitcher. Steep coffee in the fridge for 24 hours. Gently remove the pitcher packs and add 10-16 fl oz cold, filtered water to taste.
