3 Last-Minute Coffee Holiday Recipes

The holidays are the best excuse to be overly festive, so if you have the opportunity to holiday-fy something, you should do it—including your cup of coffee. Whether you’re ordering your morning cup outside your home or making it yourself, you really only have one month to acceptably drink whipped cream and peppermint with before 10 am, so you should certainly make the most of it. If you’re reading this blog and just now realizing you still have yet to take advantage of the coffee utopia that is December, look no further than these three simple coffee holiday recipes.

1. Peppermint Latte

Like we said before, nothing screams “festive” quite like downing peppermint and whipped cream, all before 10 am. Although this latte looks fancy, it’s really only six ingredients, and it won’t take you more than 5 minutes to make. If you’re a fan of rimmed beverages and peppermint bark, this lil’ guy is right up your alley.

2. Peppermint Martini

Did we say nothing screams “festive” quite like downing peppermint and whipped cream before 10 am? Sorry, what we really meant was nothing screams “festive” quite like downing peppermint, whipped cream and VODKA before 10 am. While we can’t encourage consuming this if you’re looking to be productive, we can most certainly encourage it if you’re looking to take the edge off at some point during your holiday festivities. Consider this the ultimate Christmas cocktail.

3. Eggnog Latte

Eggnog is cool and all, but an eggnog latte? Iconic. If you enjoy the regular stuff, you’ll certainly be a fan of this. Think of it as everything you know and love about eggnog—plus coffee and a bit more sugar. It’s like eggnog with a caffeine kick.

There aren’t too many days left of December, so you better get cracking, friends. While you can certainly enjoy these festive drinks all year-round (who says Christmas lights ever have to come down?), they’re definitely most acceptable before the holidays. So, let your festiveness run free and take time to enjoy one (or all three) of these.
